Institute of Steel and Alloys (MISA).
One of the oldest institutes in
Russia which trains the specialists for the work in research and
design institutes in the ferrous metallurgy industry. MISA conducts
research in the area of new technological processes, new composite
materials, physics and chemistry of metallurgical processes, ecology
and economy of the metallurgical production.
 GIPROMEZ
- State Institute of Metallurgical Plants Design.
GIPROMEZ has existed and successfully worked for 75
years already. It has elaborated projects under which dozens of
large metallurgical enterprises in Russia, CIS and abroad were
constructed and put into operation.
 Stalproekt.
Stalproekt is the institute of
thermal metallurgical units and technologies. It is a design and
development institute which works out the constructions of the
thermal units of the coke-free metallurgy for the steel making
production, heating furnaces of rolling and tube rolling
production and also the design documentation for the construction
and commissioning of the units.
 CNIIPSK -
Central
Research Institute of Steel Structures Design.
The
institute elaborates the drawings of steel structures of industrial
buildings of metallurgical shops and plants as well as special
(unique) installations. Under the projects of the institute
industrial installations all over the world were built and are now
operative.
 VNIPI "Tyazhpromelectroproekt".
The
All-Russian Research & Design Institute was established in 1918
as the Head Specialized Organization for design of electrotechnical
structures and installations (newly constructed, reconstructed or
technically re-equipped). The Institute has firm business relations
with more than 50 industrial enterprises in Russian Federation/CIS
countries. It also took active part in designing structures and
installations in many countries of the
world.
